RE: small leak underdash by drivers feet
Check your marker lights just below the roof. I had a leak that show up around the driver window, I kept sealing the window with no fix, then the leak also went to the floor under the dash. I checked the clearance lights and found one with the sealant gone, caulked it and no more problem with window or under dash.

Lay some blame on all the diesel pickup trucks that haul trailers, fvers and TCs.
Many pickups come and go all day at the campgrounds, at least the Class A is only
fired up when we leave.

If didn't have my Dutchstar Dp which I use the genny on for power outage at home, I surely would have got the 2000 watt. I thought for the TC the 1000 uses 1/2 the fuel as the 2000 or at least 30 % less so I could carry less fuel and be more economical. I do have a 600 watt microwave that could go in the TC, but so far I have not missed using the microwave.

Looking in my converter manual it states it use 300 watts with a 20 amp charging rate, not as much as I thought.

Would it help to run the the TV on the dc power instead of the ac, or would that just slow the rate of charging the battery?

I got a Kipor 1000 to use to charge the battery and run the furnace and tv. Hopefully its big enough for these functions. Just wondered what anyone thinks of this setup. My concern is hooking the TC cord in and will the converter take most of the wattage?.

Back TC after 27 years
My first RV was A TC 28 years ago. After a trailer, 2 Class Cs and 3 Class As I added a 2000 Angler 8.5 ft, could not pass up this perfect clean unit for my 97 F-250. My DW gave me a hint that should get a TC for going fishing with my buddies and pulling my boat. I guess she was tired of me bringing home the diesel MoHo all dirty and smelly. Believe me it is a charm to tow and launch the boat now with the TC rather then the MoHo. She was right, less for wear and tear on the big unit. Now I have my own RV and don't feel bad about taking rhe guys out for the weekend. Anyone else out there with the same situation?

Best gas Class A built by any manufactuer. I had one and still wish I had one. As for diesel, they are on par with some of the other builders.

RE: hissing noise after engine shutdown
I have the same sound after shutdown. I noticed it after I had the air dryer serviced, took the coach back they said nothing is wrong, but air is escaping from the air dryer. Took it back again the service manager saw the problem, they called me back again and said nothing is wrong, this time they wanted to charge me for their inspection, the problem is still there, and they won't take care of me.
